The College Band and Hoyt Street Jazz Ensemble will present their annual Spring Concert on Wednesday, April 25th at 5:30 PM in the Jindra Fine Arts Building (Band Room 215) on the campus of Peru State College.
The Hoyt Street Jazz Ensemble will perform on the second portion of the concert and present music from jazz and pop traditions. Both ensembles are under the direction of Dr. Kenneth Meints and the event is free and open to the public.
Membership in the band program consists of students from all corners of Nebraska and from across the nation. The college has offered a band experience since 1889, making Peru State College the home of the state’s longest continuously running band program.
